Spring Toward Success!

Spring Toward Success was a Success!   Event details included live and silent auctions, delicious dinner and desserts, live entertainment and the opportunity to celebrate all of the wonderful accomplishments of the ITSJC children!

Because of all of our amazing donors, participants, attendees, sponsors and volunteers, we raised over $97,000!    All proceeds will benefit new and existing programs and expanded services funded by Friends of Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County.   Some of these programs and services include:

Community Based Playgroups- These playgroups are held during the winter months at various play gyms so parents can come and play with their child and meet other parents who have children with special needs and developmental delays. 

Special Assistance Fund- This fund helps provides financial assistance to families for assistive technology needs (such as wheelchairs, communication devices, hearing aids, orthotics, etc.) for which no other funds are available.

Playful Potential Program – This program is a durable equipment lending program where families can try out expensive, yet necessary, equipment that helps their child reach their fullest potential.  The child may also borrow a piece of equipment if the child needs it for only a short period of time.

Funeral Assistance Program- Some of the children receiving services may have life-threatening conditions.  In the tragic event, that a child passes, this program will help fund up to $500 for funeral expenses.
